Jennifer Vassel

Author, Speaker, Creative Entrepreneur

Jennifer Vassel is the author and founder of “I Am Unique!” - a children’s media and self-love brand aimed to inspire kids and adults to rise above their insecurities so they can share their unique gifts with the world.

Jennifer’s interest in entrepreneurship piqued when she heard a life-changing sermon on New Year’s Eve 2012. In 2014, she published her debut book entitled, “My Channeled Energy” - a collection of poems and short stories written from age 6-26, becoming an Amazon #1 Bestseller in two categories. Her main focus now is building the I Am Unique! brand.
Her work has been featured in national online publications such as Forbes, Black Enterprise, Thrive, Essence, and Good Day LA. “I Am Unique!” has touched the lives of children across the U.S. and internationally - reaching countries like France, the Philippines, England, Kenya, and Uganda.

Jennifer is an eyewear enthusiast and a Southern California-native who holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University, and two Master’s degrees from Azusa Pacific University. She is a board member of STUK Designs, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides self-love and art programming for girls of color in underserved communities worldwide. What Jennifer's most proud of, though, is being able to inspire others to tap into their natural gifts and live life with purpose and intention.
